Infinity Dream
Infinity Dream expresses my fascination with the limitless nature of dreams and imagination. By layering familiar elements, I explore the fluid boundaries between reality and the subconscious. This piece is a personal reflection on the cyclical nature of time, memory, and possibility, where each fragment represents moments of wonder and introspection. Through this work, I invite viewers to immerse themselves in an endless, dreamlike journey.

21st Century Ignorance
21st Century Ignorance accentuates the disconnect between information overload and true understanding. Through a two-tired layered detached antagonism, the collage reflects how the media's constant flood fragments our attention, urging viewers to question whether we engage with the world or merely consume it in a fear conduced reality.

You Are The Voice
In You Are The Voice, I use tissue paper to symbolise the impact of speaking out, where layered expressions spark awareness and action. Inspired by the Australian Aboriginal flag, with its yellow sun, red earth, and black sky honouring the people, I layered thin blue paper over parts of the sun, serendipitously reflecting the colours worn in Australian sport.

Terra Nullius Territory
Terra Nullius Territory reflects my exploration of contested land, belonging, and identity. This piece represents my personal response to the colonial concept of ‘empty land’ and challenges the imposed narratives of ownership. Each fragment in the collage tells a story of resilience, loss, and the search for meaning in our relationship with place.

The Boy Can Dance
In The Boy Can Dance, I feature aboriginal boys performing the bora, an initiation ceremony which involves learning sacred songs, dances, stories, and traditional lore. Rusty tones evoke Uluru and the outback, while collaged paper symbolises modern communication. This work celebrates cultural continuity amid the evolving dialogue between tradition and modern life.

City Breach
In City Breach, I use the image of a breaching whale in the foreground as a metaphor for the arrival of white settlers in Sydney Harbour and their claim of Terra Nullius. The powerful, disruptive act of the breach reflects the settlers’ disregard for the land’s original custodians, highlighting the deep impact of colonisation on the city’s history and landscape. Through this work, I aim to provoke reflection on the lasting consequences of this unjust claim.

The Vision
In The Vision, I use tissue paper to create a blurred reality, reflecting life’s complexities and hidden truths. Red strips act as symbolic band-aids, masking society’s deep-rooted issues rather than healing them. Despite this, I promote hope—hope for real change beneath the surface—and invite viewers to envision a future where those wounds are truly addressed.

Dancing With The Stars
Dancing With The Stars honours the rich connection between culture, land, and the cosmos. Depicting the Southern Cross and indigenous males performing a corroboree, this collage celebrates ancestral traditions and the enduring spiritual relationship between First Nations people and the night sky. The sheep stand poised for slaughter, a stark symbol of colonised Australia’s exploitation and control.

Beginnings
In Beginnings, I use layers of translucent tissue paper to evoke a sense of delicate protection, symbolising the fragile yet nurturing essence of new life. By incorporating flora and fauna, I aim to highlight the interconnectedness of nature and the importance of safeguarding what is precious. This work reflects my exploration of growth, shelter, and the quiet strength found in beginnings.

Picture This!
In Picture This!, I frame Uluru as a landmark that must be preserved, standing strong amidst a burning landscape. In the foreground, a group of indigenous men dance a corroboree, embodying resilience and cultural survival. This work highlights the urgent need to protect both the land and its ancient traditions in the face of destruction. The number 31 is my lucky number.

Dreaming's Dance
In Dreaming's Dance, I explore the intertwining of history and transformation through symbolism. An indigenous man performing a corroboree reflects cultural tradition, while a butterfly represents life’s metamorphosis. A letterbox resembling Ned Kelly signifies white Australia, while a faint portrait of a young Aboriginal man evokes the spirit of future generations. Collectively a contemplation on heritage, change, and continuity.

It's A Part Down Under
It's A Party Down Under is my reflection on over two centuries of immigration to Australia, where despite the ongoing presence of racism, the country continues to offer opportunities, safety and fun. I explore the contrasts between exclusion and inclusion, aiming to capture the complex identity of a nation built on diversity yet still grappling with prejudice.

Yeah-Nah
Yeah-Nah is my response to the 'No' campaign that spent millions of dollars to create division. This collage reflects the frustration and absurdity of a campaign that left us with nothing but rejection, using imagery under cellophane and bubble wrap to highlight fragility and entitlement.
